Magic Learn ("we", "our", "the App") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially children. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using the App, you consent to the practices described here.

We collect the following information when you create an account and use the App:

• Account information: Email address, username, age, and age bracket.
• Learning data: Quiz answers, scores, XP earned, lesson progress, completed quizzes, streaks, and badges.
• Device information: Basic device identifiers for crash reporting and analytics (no advertising identifiers).
• Reports: When you report a question, we collect the challenge ID, lesson ID, category, and your user ID to review the content.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and personalize the learning experience
• Track progress and award XP, badges, and streaks
• Display leaderboards (username and XP only)
• Improve content quality based on reports and usage patterns
• Maintain account security and prevent abuse

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

4. Children's Privacy

Magic Learn is designed for children aged 4–14. We take children's privacy seriously:

• We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service.
• We do not display advertising or use tracking for marketing purposes.
• Leaderboards show only usernames — never email addresses or real names.
• A parent or guardian must provide consent for account creation for children under 13.
• Parents may request deletion of their child's account and data at any time.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to user data is restricted by Firestore security rules that ensure users can only read and write their own data. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties except:

• With Firebase/Google Cloud for hosting and authentication (as a data processor)
• When required by law or to protect the safety of our users

Leaderboard data (username and XP score) is visible to other authenticated users of the App.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account through the App settings, all associated data — including progress, leaderboard entries, and profile information — is permanently deleted from our servers.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data (visible in your profile and account details)
• Correct your data (via the Edit Profile screen)
• Delete your data (via the Delete Account option in settings)
• Withdraw consent by deleting your account

9. Cookies & Tracking

The App does not use cookies. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Firebase may collect minimal crash and performance data to help us maintain App stability.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
